Andy and Bracha’s wedding was totally awesome! I put some pictures in the album. Yep, that’s me in the purple bowtie.

Well, today on gug ba’omer (גו”ג בעומר) finally here’s my first post with some content.

This past February, I spent a week in California with my family. After attending a cousin’s Bar Mitzva in Los Angeles, we had a nice time visiting with family and traveling around to Death Valley & Las Vegas. I posted some really nice pictures from the trip in my Album.

There’s another reason I was in California. I gave a presentation at a SIAM workshop about some research I did on solving linear systems that arise in analyzing a truss. You can check out the paper and slides in my Research section.

In other news, I’m looking forward this summer to working at Argonne National Lab in Chicago. It should be fun, but right now I’m still looking for an apartment for the summer, so feel free to share any suggestions.
